Marketplace: a closer look at what we launched at Zip Forward
20+ ready-to-connect templates for ERP, contracts, risk, and IT in Zip.

At this year’s Forward we introduced Marketplace, an on-demand catalog inside Zip for procurement and IT teams to discover and connect integrations.
Now that Zip Forward is behind us (though you can read the full list of announcements here), we’d like to share a closer look at Marketplace.
The problem: Connecting procurement to everything else
Procurement orchestration works best when Zip is connected across the tools you use. Every company runs on a wide set of systems: your ERP, CLM, risk platform, ticketing tool, identity provider, and more. In most procurement platforms, building and maintaining these integrations is one of the biggest pain points; turning on a new integration takes weeks or months of custom work, and it's difficult to maintain and stay up to date.
Much of that friction comes from the foundation underneath. Most vendors build their integrations on a third-party iPaaS, which places every connection behind middleware they neither own nor control.
The result is generalized connectors with little procurement-specific logic, and multiple vendors to coordinate with whenever something needs to change.
How App Studio differs from a third-party iPaaS
Zip took a different approach and built App Studio, our proprietary first-party integration platform. Because Zip owns the whole stack, App Studio does three things a third-party iPaaS can't.
- Every connection runs on one platform, with bidirectional sync, a full audit trail, configuration change logs, and activity logging with alerts. Admins can see what each integration did and when it did it.
- Integrations sit inside the approval workflow. Requesters and approvers see real-time status on the request itself. Teams can push data and documents to a third-party system, pull results back, and pause or retrigger approvals based on what comes back.
- Implementation is faster because there is no middleware to configure, no third-party license to negotiate, and no chain of vendors to wait on. One team owns the roadmap, the build, and the fix.
How Marketplace integration templates work
App Studio has powered hundreds of Zip deployments and thousands of live integrations across our customer base. Marketplace turns that experience into pre-built templates that simplify how our customers discover and connect integrations.
Each template is built based on the learnings and patterns we've seen work in ERP syncs, contract handoffs, vendor risk reviews, and IT tickets, so teams start from a proven blueprint instead of building from scratch.

With pre-built integration templates, getting connected is simple:
- Find it. Browse the full catalog of 100+ integrations Zip supports, including more than 20 ready-to-connect Marketplace templates today.
- Connect it. An AI-guided setup walks teams through installation, data mapping, and workflow placement.
- Keep it current. Admins can view template versions and update integrations effortlessly with a guided update experience.
- Stay in control. Once connected, integrations are tracked and permissioned inside Zip, so procurement and IT keep control of what's in place and who can change it.
Marketplace has more than 20 integration templates available today, with more on the way, across the categories procurement teams rely on most: ERP, procurement and sourcing, contracts and eSignature, risk and compliance, ITSM, collaboration, and more.
Partner integrations in Marketplace
The first partner templates each connect one step in the Zip workflow to a tool procurement teams already use.
SpendHQ integration for spend intelligence
SpendHQ is a spend intelligence and procurement performance platform. Intake requests and sourcing events in Zip flow into SpendHQ projects, and contract data stays aligned in both systems. Teams forecast and track savings without entering the same data twice.
Drata integration for vendor security reviews
Drata is a compliance automation platform for vendor risk and security reviews. When a new vendor intake starts in Zip, the integration creates the vendor record in Drata and opens a security review. Vendor details, the intake PDF, and security documents like SOC 2 reports attach automatically. Approvers see the review status and a link to the Drata profile from inside Zip.
Keelvar integration for sourcing optimization
Keelvar is an AI-native sourcing optimization platform. Requests in Zip sync to Keelvar for AI-powered bid optimization. Event links and status appear in Zip as sourcing progresses, and outcomes write back to the request.
Fairmarkit integration for competitive RFx
Fairmarkit is an autonomous sourcing platform for competitive RFx events. Qualifying requests launch a Fairmarkit RFx using data captured at intake. Status syncs back to Zip in real time, and the awarded vendor updates the request automatically. Teams can run more spend through competitive sourcing without logging into Fairmarkit.

Why integrations matter for AI procurement agents
The average enterprise uses hundreds of systems and tools, and connecting them to your procurement system continues to be one of the biggest challenges teams face today.
In the age of AI procurement orchestration, it’s even more important to get integrations connected quickly and easily. Every integration you turn on expands the enterprise context available to Zip's AI superagents and gives them a full view of what's happening across your systems, improving the breadth and depth of what they are able to do.
Marketplace is the place to discover, adopt, and manage the integrations procurement teams rely on, all inside the front door where spend decisions happen.
