For the second year in a row, Zip has been named to CNBC's World's Top Fintech Companies list, recognized in the Enterprise Fintech category alongside companies like Stripe, Visa, and PayPal.

The list, produced annually by CNBC in partnership with Statista, evaluated more than 2,000 companies across eight fintech categories on performance metrics spanning general and segment-specific KPIs. The repeat placement comes after a year in which Zip shipped the first fully governed AI agents for procurement and was named to two major analyst evaluations.

Why this year's recognition carries more weight

"Being named to this list for a second year matters more now than it did last year, because the stakes in procurement have only gotten higher," said Rujul Zaparde, co-founder and CEO of Zip. "Procurement decisions carry real financial, legal, and compliance consequences. AI only earns a place in those workflows when every action can be governed, audited, and trusted. Our customers have shown that enterprises don't have to choose between moving fast with AI and maintaining the controls their business depends on."

That standard shaped everything Zip shipped this year. Earlier this summer, we announced Superagents, the first fully-governed, auditable AI agents for procurement. These specialized agents unblock stalled approvals, review and redline contracts, code and route invoices, and manage tail-spend negotiation. Every action is logged, audited, and bound by the same policies and approval chains enterprises already have in place.

Part of a bigger pattern

The CNBC recognition joins a run of independent validation over the past year:

Behind those accolades are the numbers that matter most to us. Zip now serves over 800 enterprises, including AMD, Anthropic, Discover, Dollar Tree, Northwestern Mutual, OpenAI, and T-Mobile. We've processed more than $1 trillion in spend and saved our customers more than $10 billion through our AI suite.

Thank you to the team behind it

Lists like this one recognize a company, but companies don't ship products or earn customer trust; people do. This recognition belongs to every Zip employee: the engineers and product teams building governed AI that holds up under enterprise scrutiny, the designers making complex workflows feel simple, and the go-to-market and customer teams who show up for procurement leaders every day.

It also belongs to our customers, who trusted a young company with one of the most consequential processes in their business and pushed us to build something worthy of that trust.
