Zip Forward 2026 opened this morning at The Glasshouse in New York with more than 1,000 business leaders in the room spanning procurement, finance, IT, security and more.

Two days of keynotes, product deep-dives, and change-making connections start now, and we’re using the day to make our largest set of product announcements yet.

Meet AI Risk Orchestration: Intelligent supplier risk management

Today, we're introducing AI Risk Orchestration, a full third-party risk management solution. It brings end-to-end intelligent supplier risk management into the same platform where purchasing decisions are made and procurement teams already manage suppliers.

For the first time, procurement and risk teams can work from one unified system. AI takes the repetitive, manual work of risk reviews, freeing up human experts to focus on judgment calls.

Third-party risk has become harder to manage as supplier ecosystems grow more complex and businesses move faster. Security, legal, compliance, finance, and procurement teams often assess the same supplier through separate tools and processes, creating duplicate work and fragmented risk signals. The rapid adoption of AI suppliers is only raising the stakes, making it even more important to bring risk into the purchasing process.

AI Risk Orchestration triages incoming requests, determines whether an assessment is needed, and pre-fills questionnaires using the supplier information already in Zip. It scores suppliers against your own risk framework and surfaces findings from request details, survey responses, and third-party documents.

Each finding is tracked to resolution, whether that means formally accepting the risk or requesting additional evidence from the supplier. Zip orchestrates the proper reviews all before the purchase is approved. Reassessments run automatically on the cadence you define, and continuous monitoring from leading third-party intelligence platforms alerts team members when critical risk factors change so they can act accordingly.

Accrual Automation makes month-end accruals fast and auditable

Today, we're launching Accrual Automation to generate accruals from the purchase data already in Zip. It prepares journal entries ready to post to the ERP, with human approval and a complete audit trail on every calculation. 

Accruals remain one of the most manual steps in the financial close. The work behind them often feels like a scavenger hunt, as teams chase down what was received but not yet invoiced across POs, inboxes, and chat threads, under the tightest deadline of the month. 

Zip approaches accrual automation from the source. 

The Zip platform already orchestrates the purchase orders, receipts, and contracts that drive an accrual, so a deterministic engine can calculate each one using consistent, reproducible methods and show its work. AI handles the busywork of completing missing inputs, drafting the rationale, and following up with owners and suppliers. A person always reviews and approves, and nothing posts on its own. 

Accrual Automation covers PO-backed spend and recurring non-PO costs in one place, with every accrual traceable back to the request, receipt, or approval that drove it.

Introducing Sourcing Superagent and PO Superagent

Zip's new Sourcing Superagent helps procurement teams run better sourcing events with less manual effort. It uses the business need, company policies, supplier data, and sourcing best practices to handle the coordination and analysis that slow teams down. Buyers keep control of the decisions, and sourcing gets faster and more consistent.

The PO Superagent uses the full request, billing, and historical context of a purchase order, plus your policy documents, to recommend the next best action when orders need attention. It drafts new requests, recommends PO closures, and suggests change orders. Requesters can execute any of them with a single click.

Because it's embedded in Zip's purchase order lifecycle, the PO Superagent runs in the background and reaches out to requesters to maintain PO hygiene, reduce blocked invoice payments, and keep forecasts and accruals accurate.

Marketplace makes app integration self-served and governed

Our new Marketplace makes it easier for procurement and IT teams to connect Zip to the systems their business relies on. 

In most procurement platforms, turning on a new integration takes weeks or months of custom work, and every future update means more manual effort on top of that. That's because most vendors build their integrations on a third-party iPaaS, which places every connection behind middleware they neither own nor control.

Admins can connect them effortlessly through an AI-guided setup wizard and apply one-click upgrades to stay current. Everything installed is tracked and permissioned inside the platform so procurement and IT keep control over what's in place and who can make changes.

Marketplace launches with over 20 integration templates across ERP, P2P, CLM, GRC, and more, expanding the enterprise context available to AI agents and keeping the systems Zip orchestrates in sync.

Welcoming new AI data partners

Today we're also launching a new ecosystem of AI data partners to give procurement teams and Superagents richer external context on every purchasing decision.

NPI, SpendHound, and Tropic cover more than 10,000 software providers. Beroe and Brightfield bring services and spend data (including contingent, agency, and full-time labor) from hundreds of Fortune 500 customers. TEEM contributes proprietary supplier discovery network data.

The first use cases inside Zip are price benchmarking and supplier discovery, with more partners and use cases on the way.
